Welcome to UWE's My Culture project

The My Culture project brings focus to the culture of sports and the Olympic values through the use of creative arts. A range of student artists were asked to create art pieces (photography/sculpture/drawing/graffiti) which demonstrate the Olympic and paralympic values. We want to change the culture of sport at UWE, help people see that sport is not just for 'sporty' people, but for people of all religions, ethnicities, lifestyles and cultures- it is a culture of community and friendship, and that is something for everyone!. The art pieces will be around campus for the next year to help students see sport in a new light, bring some colour to the campus and hopefully, eventually shift student's perception of 'who' can engage in sports!
